Dermaplaning is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure for skin resurfacing. Your practitioner uses a special instrument to shave away the uppermost layers of your skin. It can help reduce the appearance of acne scars or other skin imperfections by revealing newer, undamaged skin. It can make your skin look younger; though, it doesn’t stop the aging process. Some people also get dermaplaning for hair removal, though this is of course only temporary, because hair grows back. Though contrary to popular belief the hair won't grow back thicker or tougher. This is because peach fuzz is a different sort of hair compared to the thicker/more noticeable hair grown on other parts on our body.

There is no downtime with this treatment, however as the eye area is extremely delicate some small bruises may occur.
